History and philosophy of the estate
Finca de la Música began as a rural hotel for short or long holidays, and it is also an ideal place to organise events, masterclasses, courses or workshops in the arts and in wellbeing, as well as private parties.
It started as a project for a future cohousing of families and artist friends, where each has an independent house and the common spaces become places of social, playful and artistic gathering.
The philosophy of the estate is to offer a relaxing place, in perfect harmony with nature, self-sufficient both financially and energetically. Our ambition is to reach a fully organic, self-sufficient food production.
The project also sets out to encourage social gathering among guests. To social distancing and virtual friendships, Finca de la Música answers with encounters, closeness and interpersonal, international exchange.
Finca de la Música is rest, friendship, joy and art.
Common spaces
The upper area of the estate brings together the five houses, the garden and the pool: the space where guests meet, for parties with dancing, birthdays and barbecues together.
The lower part of the estate has 400 sqm outdoors, on the same level as the concert hall.
DIGITAL NOMADS WELCOME (DNW)
Finca de la Música promotes and supports Digital Nomads Welcome (DNW), an international project created to build a network of places dedicated to those who live and work remotely.
The phenomenon of Digital Nomads, Remote Workers and professionals who work online is constantly growing and is changing the way people travel, stay and experience a destination.
DNW was born from a simple idea: a place where you work does not necessarily have to be a coworking space.
It can be a house, a garden, a terrace overlooking the ocean, a bar, a restaurant or any other pleasant place where it is possible to work, meet other people and experience the local area.
This is why Finca de la Música is part of the DNW network: because it perfectly represents this philosophy.
Here you can stay, work in a quiet environment surrounded by nature, meet people from all over the world and, at the same time, discover Tenerife away from the traditional tourist circuits.
La Finca offers five independent houses, a suite, large common areas, gardens, terraces, a pool and a concert hall equipped for training and creative activities.
But DNW is not just a network of properties: above all, it aims to become an international community of people who share a new way of working and living.
Through the network it will be possible to discover other participating places, take part in events and initiatives, meet other professionals and discover services and experiences designed for those temporarily staying in a destination.
Finca de la Música thus aims to help build a different way of experiencing Tenerife: slower, more authentic and more open to meeting others.
